NAI HANSON'S 2009 AWARDS ACKNOWLEDGE HARD WORK DURING TUMULTUOUS ECONOMIC TIMES NAI Hanson presents 15 awards and promotes three employees who raised the bar despite tough market
Hackensack, NJ, Apr 12, 2010 - /FLIERWIRE/-- NAI James E. Hanson, a leading New Jersey-based commercial real estate firm, hosted its annual awards dinner on March 17, 2010, at Il Villaggio in Carlstadt, N.J. NAI Hanson bestowed 15 awards on 13 employees, honoring them for their hard work, dedication and success in 2009. In addition to the awards, the company also promoted Thomas A. Vetter, Jeffrey W. DeMagistris and Anthony J. Cassano each from associate vice president to vice president.
"Last year was a challenging year for the real estate industry, especially on the commercial side, as investors, renters, owners and developers were skeptical of market stability and new opportunities," stated William C. Hanson, SIOR, president of NAI Hanson. "Despite the market struggles, our company continued to grow, adding several new business groups, which include a Multi-Family Division and a Capital Markets Division." Last year, Hanson increased its personnel by six, which included the acquisition of Schilp & Co. Realtors, a commercial real estate firm out of Chester, NJ.
"It is with great pleasure that I acknowledge the industrious efforts of these outstanding individuals, and I thank everyone for their strong work ethic, persistence and determination during these tougher times," added Mr. Hanson.

• EnHansonment Award - in recognition of professional advancement and growth within the industry and the firm through hard work and dedication: Associate Vice President Darren M. Lizzack, for his ability to broadly market himself via a network group he created, NJCREA.com.

o Vice President Anthony J. Cassano and Director of Government Services Peter A. Cohen for the lease of a 123,816-square-foot lot with a long-term lease at 280D Route 17 South in Mahwah, N.J. A 111-room limited service Hampton Hilton Hotel is scheduled to be built on this site.
o Senior Vice President Andrew Somple and Vice President Anthony J. Cassano for the sale of 30 Corporate Drive, a 27,260-square-foot flex building, in Orangeburg, N.J.
o Senior Vice President Andrew Somple and European Business Director Judy Troiano for the lease of a 34,096-square-foot industrial building at 800 Central Boulevard, in Carlstadt, N.J.
